Professional Training Program (Online / In-Person)

Integral to our ‘training and internship’ programs are the online and in-person training elements.

Delivered in three parts, and designed to initially identify your existing skills, strengths and weaknesses, the results are used to build and administer a comprehensive set of vocational and soft skills that will enhance your internship experience in Dubai.

Evaluating skills, behaviour and culture, the tests tease out the best in you, challenging and measuring your proficiency across a wide variety of key metrics, including communication, situational judgement and problem-solving, in addition to a range of role-specific skills.

Step 1. Your online Test Sessions

Once you have enrolled onto one of our ‘training and internship’ programs, your internship adviser will build a career path specific testing schedule comprising a number of multiple-choice, true/false, multiple-select, and online challenges for you to sit.

A mix of career-specific, skills-focused, and general aptitude questions, the tests should be completed within a week (at your own pace and time) and help us to accurately and confidently validate and rank your existing skills.

Tests are designed to give you the opportunity to focus on showing your skills, and the assessments provide job-relevant and realistic scenarios that mimic the experience of working in the companies and sectors you wish to intern in.

Using the results to form an initial benchmark, the insights delivered enable us to quickly understand your strengths/weaknesses and internship readiness, which is then used to build and deliver the second part of the training program – Upskilling.

Tests are administered by a third-party partner and data and results are not shared with any other external parties.

Step 2. Your Online Test Sessions – Upskilling

With an understanding of your current skills, your internship adviser will curate a bespoke training package to strengthen your weaknesses, build on your existing strengths, and get you ready for your internship.

Delivered as a mix of video and online tests and lessons, your upskilling program runs concurrent with the organisation of your internship – building your confidence and skillset in readiness for your upcoming arrival and start-date. !!

Tests and lessons can be taken at times that fit with your existing schedule, and periodic follow-up sessions with your internship adviser to discuss progress and results provide a clear understanding of the growth being achieved.

If there are any specific work-related or soft skills that you want to develop prior to your internship, your adviser will happily try to incorporate these into your training schedule.

Step 3. In-Person Pre-Internship Training

Arriving into Dubai, equipped with your new skills and confidence, interns join our pre-internship in-person training day to acclimatise to your new environment and deliver your final training.

Specifically, focused on office etiquette, interpersonal skills, and UAE customs, your in-person training day is a fun collection of tests, cultural exercises, role-playing and orientation to give you the confidence to start your internship in the best way possible.

Expect to learn some key Arabic phrases, how to settle into your internship quickly, what to expect, and more.

Your final training day is also a great opportunity to meet other interns and to ask any questions that you have before starting in your new role.
